Hi there!

I'm Tanya, the founder and owner of Jungle Bakes.

I'm also the baker, decorator, dishwasher, photographer, accountant, marketing manager, mailperson,

and social media intern because this is a crazy one-woman show!

After grad school, I worked as an art teacher, a social worker, and a pastry chef. Then, I stumbled upon a Craigslist ad for a cookie decorator... and the rest is history. I instantly fell in love with the craft and became fast and furious friends with that small business owner. I was so thankful for the continued employment through the first year of Covid quarantine, but that business eventually had to close,

and I... was... devastated...

So my former boss and now dear friend, suggested I start my own cookie business. I thought to myself, that's insane... I don't know the first thing about running a business... could I even do it?

Fast forward through countless sweat and tears, and now I create unforgettable edible art for you!

Each cookie is fully custom and completely catered to your event. I strive to pour all my passion and dedication into every hand-decorated cookie, hoping to leave you in awe of the edible art that is

royal icing on a humble sugar cookie.
